Does this picture look similar to you? Well, that's because it looks exactly like the causes one, but this time it shows the effects of a teen pregnancy. Babies are cute and cuddly, but would you rather be finishing school, getting your dream job and THEN have your child or just have the infant completely change your life before you are even done from your education? If I were you, I would go for the first choice. What about you?
"Teen Pregnancy," on Stay Teen says that:
-Parenthood is the main reason why teen girls drop out of schools; after all it's difficult to do some studies/homework and care for an infant at the same time
- less than half of teen mothers ever graduate from high school and fewer than 2% earn a college degree by the age of 30."
- Children of teen mothers are 50% more likely to repeat a grade, less likely to graduate high school, and perform lower on standardized tests."
- About 1/4 of the teen mother have a second child within 24 months of the first birth-which can delay in finishing school or to keep a job"
